I have been in the bird abatement & pigeon control industry since 2018. I started this company in January of 2020, just 2 months before COVID hit. We thought we were done for, but COVID actually opened our business up to different ideas and different clients all throughout AZ. For a small AZ business, we are thriving and can't wait to stretch our hands out to different states in the near future.

I began my journey with falconry when I was about 10 years old. At that time, I was not able to handle or train birds of prey but my grandfather was. For 2 years I learned falconry through my grandfather. Once I was able to train a hawk myself, I never stopped. All through grade school and high school I worked with, hunted, and trained birds of prey. It was in high school that I realized the potential of hawks and their uses at night for pest control. I was so busy during those high school years, I didn't have time to fly my hawks during the day. So I decided to train my hawks to fly at night using a spotlight, and that is where I got my idea for urban bird control in AZ.

We are set apart from our competition because we are the only bird control company in the state of AZ that uses trained hawks and air cannons for bird removal. There are no other noteworthy companies in AZ that use these two specific methods of removal. The other thing that sets us apart is that our methods of removal actually work. We can proudly say that DKF removes upwards of 99% of pigeons from a property and keeps them clear for months on end.
